Burp is a program to backup and restore data. It uses librsync in order to save on the amount of space that is used by each backup. It also uses VSS (Volume Shadow Copy Service) to make snapshots when backing up Windows computers.
Release Notes: This is a candidate for being a 'stable' version.
The intention is that only bugfixes will apply to this, and new features will go on the 1.4.x branch. It fixes truncation of timestamps in the live status monitor. The 'resume partial' feature now defaults to being off, with an option to turn it on. Windows build packages were upgraded to: binutils-2.23.1, gcc-4.7.3, gmp-5.1.2, mingw-w64-v2.0.8, mpc-1.0.1, mpfr-3.1.2, openssl-1.0.1e, zlib-1.2.8, and pcre-8.33.
